The New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls have played as tight a game as you can possibly imagine on Monday night in the United Center. No team has led by more than six points at any point, and the Bulls are up 79-78 after three quarters. Derrick Rose leads all scorers with 22 points, and his incredible athleticism has been on full display as he gets his shot against Jeremy Lin.
Knicks Vs. Bulls Score Update: Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire Heat Up In Third Quarter
Amare Stoudemire heated up in the third quarter after an uninspired first half, knocking down long shots. Stoudemire's jump shot was a common sight last year, but has been noticeably absent from his game this season. He's got 18 points on 6-9 shooting so far. Jeremy Lin has done a good job dealing with Rose's athleticism as well, with 11 points, six assists, three blocks (!) and two steals, including this beauty:
This has been a great game so far, and is shaping up to be a special finish, especially with Lin, Rose and Carmelo Anthony, who all seem to love having the ball in the game's waning moments.
