NBA Trade Rumors: Bucks Reportedly Keeping Brandon Jennings

Before trading Andrew Bogut for Monta Ellis on Tuesday, the Milwaukee Bucks had a deal involving point guard Brandon Jennings in place, according to SI.com's Sam Amick. But the Bucks have apparently since taken Jennings off the trade market, and will play him alongside Ellis, the incoming dynamic scorer who should do well to take pressure off the young point guard.

Amick reports that the New Orleans Hornets were pushing hard to land Jennings, hoping to pair him with shooting guard Eric Gordon. The Hornets currently have veteran Jarrett Jack and young Greivis Vasquez at point guard after trading Chris Paul to the L.A. Clippers in December.

It doesn't appear, however, that the Bucks' Jennings deal was with the Hornets. New Orleans does have two first-round picks, at least one of which (their own) will almost certainly land in the top six. The Hornets also hold the rights to the Minnesota Timberwolves' pick, gained in the CP3 deal. The Bucks have their own 2012 first-round pick and the Celtics' second-round pick.
