Heat Vs. Bulls Final Score: Chicago Defeats Miami On Wednesday Night, 106-102

No Derrick Rose? Not a problem for the Chicago Bulls against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. The Bulls picked up a 106-102 victory at the United Center, led by John Lucas III off the bench. The reserve guard scored a team-high 24 points (in 27 minutes), and he came up with several big shots in the final quarter of play:

Five other scorers joined Lucas in reaching double-digit points, including Joakim Noah (14) and Ronnie Brewer (12). The team was deadly from beyond the arc with 10-of-19 falling for points. They also won the rebounding battle, 50-34.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade scored 35 and 36 points, respectively, but all other Heat scorers lagged far behind. Chris Bosh contributed 12 points while no other member of the team topped six points.

The Bulls (36-9) now have a 3.5 game lead over the Heat (31-11) before Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Heat remain on the road with a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
