J.J. Hickson and the Sacramento Kings agreed to a contract buyout, but the power forward isn’t expected to be on the market for long. Multiple reports indicate that the Golden State Warriors plan to sign him when he becomes a free agent on Wednesday.

Hickson will still have to clear waivers, but assuming nobody wants to pay him the prorated amount of roughly $2.5 million for the remainder of the season, CSN’s Matt Steinmetz is reporting that the Warriors plan to sign him.
