Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant will meet up for the last time during the regular season on Monday night as Dirk’s Dallas Mavericks take on Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder in a game scheduled for an 8 p.m. tip-off on NBA TV.

Nowitzki had 27 points to lead all scorers, and had a personal 9-0 run on three straight three-pointers to give the Mavs a 91-87 lead. But Nowitzki took and missed just one more shot, and both he and Dallas wouldn’t score again, giving the Thunder an opening.
Neither Westbrook nor Durant had a particularly good night — they combined to shoot 12-for-38 from the field, with Westbrook scoring 24 points and Durant getting just 22.

Monday night’s game, scheduled for an 8 p.m. tip-off on NBA TV, is the final of four meetings between the Mavericks and Thunder this season. Oklahoma City currently holds a 2-1 lead, but the Mavs could even it up with a victory while starting a winning streak in March.
