The New Orleans Hornets continue to look for a team willing to trade for center Chris Kaman, who is in the last year of his contract. However, if the Hornets can't find anyone to take him on, they may actually decide to keep Kaman past this year. The Hornets have considered giving Kaman a contract extension in the event that he can't be dealt, according to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated.

Meanwhile, sources said the Hornets are considering offering the 29-year-old Kaman an extension if no trade occurs, as they are intrigued about the possibility of pairing him with shooting guard Eric Gordon, a former Clippers teammate. Gordon, who played just two games for New Orleans before a knee injury cost him this season, will be a restricted free agent this summer.
