The Heat visit Madison Square Garden and the Knicks Sunday afternoon, trying to take a game on the road from a playoff team for just the second time in their last 10 tries.

It seems almost strange to think about at this point, but there was a time when “Who’s better, LeBron or ‘Melo?” was a legitimately debated topic. James’ career took off as he ascended to the platform of basketball’s best player while collecting MVP trophies and appearances in the NBA Finals. Anthony has long been in the discussion for the “Purest Scorer In The League” title, but he has otherwise been left in the dust.
However, because the two guard each other, have known each other for so long — and the game is at MSG — Heat-Knicks is must-watch TV. Both teams are vulnerable, the Heat having lost eight of their last nine road games against probable playoff teams, and the Knicks playing without Jeremy Lin and Amar'e Stoudemire, but it should be an intense game.
