It wasn't going to take long for analysts to get after Metta World Peace following his ridiculously dumb elbow to James Harden's head. There's no excuse for the elbow, despite World Peace's claims that he was just celebrating. It was a bush league move, and it forced Harden to the locker room with an apparent concussion.

The name Artest is upset about is “Metta Weird Peace,” which seems pretty harmless, all things considered. It’s better than calling him quite a few other names, at least.
Artest went on to explain the first tweet.

There’s no way this ends well for anyone. World Peace will be suspended, probably for a lengthy amount of time. Analysts will ride the “World Peace is a thug” train, which is ridiculous in itself. And the victim, Harden, may have to deal with the fallout from a concussion, which is always a serious, scary situation.
