It was not a good Game 1 for the Boston Celtics in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. The Celtics fell behind by double digits early in the first half and couldn't rally back in time, falling, 83-74. Worse, star point guard Rajon Rondo was ejected for bumping an official in the final minute and may be suspended for at least one game.

Rondo led the Celtics with 20 points and 11 assists. If he misses any action, the Celtics are in big trouble. Josh Smith had 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Hawks, who were in front throughout the contest.
