The Clippers’ Defense Is Much-Improved

I’m seriously impressed with the Clippers’ pick and roll defense. Containing Tony Parker is not easy, and the Clippers have done a really nice job of it. Parker is the key to the Spurs’ attack because he creates the slight advantage that the Spurs’ ball movement makes up, but the Clippers have done a nice job defending him with all five guys and tightening his driving lanes.

This is a four-point Spurs lead because the Clippers can’t create good shots for themselves. Defensively, though, they have been impressive.
