Pacers Vs. Magic, NBA Playoffs 2012: Indiana Routs Orlando In Third, Takes 2-1 Series Lead

The Indiana Pacers have taken a 2-1 lead on the Orlando Magic in their 2012 NBA Playoffs first-round series, dismantling Orlando in the third quarter in a 97-74 victory. The Pacers led by six points at halftime and broke it open in the third quarter, outscoring Orlando 32-17 to take a 21-point lead. They were never seriously threatened after that.

Roy Hibbert once again dominated the shorter Magic on the inside, scoring 18 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and blocking three shots. With Dwight Howard injured, the Magic were powerless to stop Hibbert on both ends of the floor. Danny Granger scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Pacers, while Glen Davis had 22 to lead Orlando.

Game 4 is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.
