The Boston Celtics have been awarded a 2013 second-round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder as a result of a dispute over Jeff Green's medical condition, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. The pick will be the one the Thunder possess from the Charlotte Bobcats, so it's likely to be a high second-round selection.

The dispute stems from a midseason deal in 2011, when the Celtics acquired Green for Kendrick Perkins. Green ended up missing the entire 2011-12 season after suffering an aortic aneurysm, a heart condition. The Celtics evidently believe that the Thunder were not as forthcoming as they should have been with Green's condition, and the league evidently agrees.
Green averaged 9.8 points per game in 26 games for the Celtics after the trade in 2011. He is a restricted free agent, and the Celtics are expected to keep him.
