It appears that Golden State Warrior head coach Mark Jackson has already seen his offseason get off to a rough start. As originally reported by The Smoking Gun, Jackson was the victim of an extortion plot that has resulted in the arrests of two individuals.
Mark Jackson Targeted In Extortion Case, According To Report
Warriors coach Mark Jackson was apparently the victim of an extortion scheme. Jackson worked with the FBI to apprehend the individuals attempting to extort him.

The Bay Area News Group reports that Jackson worked in conjunction with the FBI to thwart an exploitation scheme hatched by former New York stripper Alexis Adams and ex-convict Marcus Shaw. The two allegedly had compromising pictures of Jackson and Adams that they threatened to send to Jackson’s family.
The Smoking Gun reported that Jackson, who has been married for 22 years, began an affair with Adams around six years ago while Jackson was an announcer for the New Jersey Nets. Adams confronted Jackson while the Warriors were in Memphis in April, the report said. Jackson reportedly paid $5,000 to Adams but the pair then contacted Jackson's wife while demanding a "six-figure payment" from the Warriors coach.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Warriors have issued a statement on the situation and have offered Jackson the full support of the team.
