Steve Nash Rumors: Portland Trail Blazers Among Teams Likely To Pursue Free Agent Guard

Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash is expected to be one of the more hotly pursued commodities during the upcoming NBA free agency period. Though the Suns are expected to do everything they can to keep Nash in Phoenix, several teams, including the Portland Trail Blazers, are expected to vie for the 38-year-old's services, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Blazers are considered one of the more prominent suitors having spent several offseasons already trying to lure Nash. They are expected to have the finances necessary to potentially pull off a deal, and the fact that they are located close to Nash’s native Vancouver, Canada, can’t hurt.

The Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets (assuming they can't rope in Deron Williams) are the other two teams considered to be in the best position to go after Nash, according to Stein.
