When Blake Griffin suffered a knee injury during practice Thursday, Team USA officials wasted little time calling up Anthony Davis to replace him in Thursday's scrimmage against the Dominican Republic. Now that Griffin will miss the Olympics with a meniscus tear, Davis will officially replace him in the London Olympics, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Davis, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this summer, was among the final cuts when the National Team roster was pared down to 12. At 6-foot-10, Davis will provide some much needed size for a Team USA frontcourt that has been riddled with injuries.
In addition to Griffin, Team USA is also without Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard and LaMarcus Aldridge.
