Las Vegas NBA Summer League Scores And Results: Jeremy Lamb, Tony Wroten Turn In Solid Performances

Action continued at the Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday and a few recent first round picks stood out with strong performances.

While the Rockets lost to the Wizards 76-70, Jeremy Lamb played well, scoring a game-high 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting. Bradley Beal, the No. 3 pick in last month's NBA Draft, scored 14 points for the Wizards, making 4-of-10 shots.

Tony Wroten Jr. was never known for his shooting ability in college, but he shot the ball well Saturday as the Grizzlies beat the Knicks 93-77. Wroten made 5-of-9 shots, including 2-of-3 3-point attempts. He scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists. Josh Selby also had a good night for the Grizzlies, scoring 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

Jimmer Fredette scored 15 points as the Kings beat the Lakers 84-72, but made just 3-of-11 shots. Thomas Robinson posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Josh Akognon scored 25 points in 22 minutes off the bench.

The Warriors moved to 2-0 in Summer League play with a 95-74 win over Denver. Klay Thompson scored 17 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. In two Summer League games this year, Thompson has made 10-of-14 3-point attempts. Harrison Barnes scored 13 points for the Warriors, although he needed 17 shots to do so.
