Could a longshot have pulled off a surprising deal for Steve Nash? Phoenix radio personality John Gambadoro is saying that one did -- and it's the Los Angeles Lakers.

Gambadoro is considered credible by NBA reporters, and has been close to Nash for much of the two-time NBA MVP’s time in Phoenix. He also reports that the Lakers will send multiple draft picks to the Suns to acquire Nash.
The move will push the Lakers up against the salary cap, but their rich local television deal could help them withstand any luxury tax, and the potential for a trade to move Pau Gasol and his sizable salary still exists.
