Undrafted rookies, minor league players and other prospects are being invited to teams’ training camps ahead of the preseason. Each team roster will be cut down to 15 by the end of October.
Terrence Williams Headed To Pistons Training Camp
Williams averaged 8.4 points a game during his rookie season with the New Jersey Nets, but was traded to Houston after playing in just 11 games, and there he reportedly broke team rules. He was demoted to the D-League that season, and posted statements on Twitter the organization didn’t appreciate, according to a report.
He split time between Houston and Sacramento in 2011, averaging 7.1 points per game in 18.3 minutes between the two clubs.
