The Conference Final field for SB Nation's NBA 3 on 3 Tournament is now complete as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks to fill the final spot.
NBA 3 on 3 Tournament Results -- Lakers Move On
The Lakers All NBA trio of Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard were rated a 72 percent favorite in any given game against Delonte West, Elton Brand and Dirk Nowitzki of the Mavericks. Sometimes the dice have a different plan though, and when the first roll came up 91, the Mavericks took a 1-0 lead in the best two of three series. The Lakers had to win two straight to advance, and got those wins with rolls of 30 and 45. The Lakers now move on to face the West Leftovers (and odd-Laker-out Pau Gasol) in the Western Conference Finals next week.
