The New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons are in London, and at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday they will tip off at London's O2 Arena in the NBA's first matchup on European soil since the 2011 series between the New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors. The Knicks are looking forward to the return of defensive specialist Iman Shumpert, while the Pistons are working to build up some momentum after recording wins in five of their last seven games. The contest will be televised on the NBA TV and the MSG network.

There's a full slate of NBA basketball for Thursday, thanks to the London matchup. In other action around the association, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Clippers (8 p.m. ET) in the first game of a TNT doubleheader, while LeBron James and the Miam Heat will visit the Los Angeles Lakers (10:30 ET) in the late game on TNT.
The only other game of the night -- and the only game that will not be nationally televised -- is the match-up between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks. The game carries an odd weight, because the Bucks have lost 24 consecutive road games in Phoenix. For anyone who's counting, that's a 9,462-day drought in Phoenix for Milwaukee.
