Atlanta Hawks guard Lou Williams left the game with an apparent knee injury in the second quarter of his team's game against the Brooklyn Nets after crumpling to the court after driving to the hoop. Willliams was in serious pain as the injury took him sprawling to the court. According to the team's official Twitter feed, he was taken off the court in a wheelchair.

The Hawks are already playing shorthanded, as Anthony Morrow and DeShawn Stevenson aren't even in Brooklyn dealing with their own injuries and Al Horford isn't in the lineup.
Williams has resumed his job as a microwave bench scorer with the Hawks since coming over from the Philadelphia 76ers in the offseason. He has averaging 14.5 points and 3.7 assists per game so far this season. The Hawks are keeping it close with the Nets just before halftime. You'll recall the Nets' eight-game win streak ended in Atlanta earlier this week.
