New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton has been out since suffering a broken pinky finger on Dec. 25 against the Lakers, but Felton has fared well in team practices and he is expected to start when the Knicks play the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. Felton will have his injury examined one more time by doctors, but assuming that checks out, he will play.

In a rare move, head coach Mike Woodson announced his entire starting lineup for the game, which will include Felton,Iman Shumpert, James White Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler. Part of the issue is that Jason Kidd may have tweaked his back, and it’s possible that he will be held out when the Knicks travel to the Wells Fargo Center to take on All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday and the Sixers.
Felton plays a roll in initiating pick-and-roll sets for the Knicks, and this season he’s been fairly effective at directing the offense. In 28 games this year he has posted a career-high 15.8 points per game and a respectable 15.3 PER despite scoring at a career-low level in terms of efficiency (46.0 percent True Shooting).
The 28-year-old point guard has missed 12 straight games with his finger injury, and the Knicks (26-14) have stumbled to a 6-6 record during his absence.
