JaVale McGee’s MRI negative, Wilson Chandler to return vs. Rockets
An MRI on Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee came back negative and wingman Wilson Chandler will return to action after suffering a groin injury.

An MRI confirmed that backup center JaVale McGee didn't have a stress fracture in his tibia, and he is listed as questionable for a game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, according to Nuggets.com writer Aaron J. Lopez. McGee missed a 102-101 win against the Indiana Pacers on Monday with a sore shin.
Meanwhile, forward Wilson Chandler will be able to play against the Rockets after sitting out Monday's game against the Pacers because of a groin strain, reports Denver Post writer Benjamin Hochman. Chandler played eight minutes on Saturday in a 121-93 victory against the Sacramento Kings before exiting with the injury.
Chandler has played in just 10 games this year after undergoing offseason surgery on his hip. He returned to play in four of the first eight games, but sat out from mid-November to mid-January.
McGee has averaged 10.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 45 games this season. His injury was ruled out as a stress fracture on Monday, but the team went ahead with the MRI.
