Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes out vs. Cavs

The Golden State Warriors will hold out starter Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

USA TODAY Sports

After Stephen Curry suffered a mild ankle sprain on Monday, the Golden State Warriors will be without their starting point guard for Tuesday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times.

The team will also be without rookie forward Harrison Barnes, who is dealing with a knee injury. Forward Carl Landry is dealing with a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable.

The team will already be without center Andrew Bogut, who made a long-awaited return from his own ankle injury on Monday night. Head coach Mark Jackson has decided not to play Bogut on the second nights of back-to-backs, at least until after the All-Star break.

Curry's ankle sprain came when he landed on the foot of forward Ed Davis Monday night. It's the second mild sprain of the ankle in the past few weeks, and it's more concerning because it's the same ankle that has required two surgeries. The Warriors have a capable backup in sixth man Jarrett Jack. Still, the loss of Curry's three-point shooting will be missed, as will Bogut's presence on the defensive end.

Curry is averaging 21 points and 6.5 assists per game.

Bogut, meanwhile, was productive in his first outing since November. He scored 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had four blocks in 24 minutes in the 114-102 win against Toronto on Monday.

Barnes had been dealing with a calf issue, but now is out with a knee injury.

UPDATE: Carl Landry is also out for Golden State.
