Video: LeBron James’ post-game pilgrimage with Hakeem Olajuwon
A man of many skills, LeBron James worked out with big man Hakeem Olajuwon to improve his post game two years ago.

Hakeem Olajuwon’s imprint in the NBA landscape has reached a number of big men as NBA teams have sent their power forwards and centers to his camp during the offseason.
But count LeBron James among the list of Olajuwon's students. Video of the three-time MVP was released on the dr34mshake YouTube channel of Olajuwon's just this Monday, if only to remind us that James is a frightening talent.
For goodness sake, it’s scary enough that LeBron appears to be the same size as the 7’ center and former Houston Rockets star.
As the video progresses, it’s apparent why Olajuwon is still known for having the best footwork of any big man in the game. Even in 2011, his post moves were light as a feather. But James isn’t far behind, quickly picking up and replicating Olajuwon -- though it brings up a point of the intricacies and calculation needed for even a simple spin move.
The coolest part comes at the tail end of the clip, when James -- probably the greatest player in the world at this point -- shows exactly why he’s just that.
“I’ve been living on the perimeter the last eight years,” he tells Olajuwon. “I need to redefine my game a little bit.”
