The San Antonio Spurs should have big man Tim Duncan back in action on Saturday against the Washington Wizards.

If that is indeed the case, then the Spurs will have Duncan back for the first time in four games. He’s been resting a minor knee injury during that time. He has missed five of the last six outings with the injury, though in the one game he played, Duncan went for 24 points, 17 rebounds and five assists.
His absence hasn't affected the Spurs' winning ways, either. Gregg Popovich's squad has won nine straight as Boris Diaw and Tiago Splitter have held down the frontcourt with Duncan watching from the sidelines.
Duncan injured his knee on Jan. 21 in a 90-85 win against the Philadelphia 76ers. He told the San Antonio Express-News that he tweaked it while coming down on a shot.
The big man is averaging 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in his 16th NBA season.
