Somebody ran over Chris Duhon in a parking garage

Chris Duhon is OK, but the guy who hit him with a car is still on the loose.

USA TODAY Sports

Look out, borderline NBA point guards: there’s a cold-blooded driver out looking to get you, and he’s on the loose.

A report from Orlando's WOFL indicates that Chris Duhon -- sorry, Knicks single-game assists record holder Chris Duhon -- got into an argument with the driver of a car in a parking garage Saturday night, and that as Duhon tried to walk away, the driver accelerated and tried to run over Duhon and his brother-in-law. The brother-in-law jumped out of the way, but Duhon's head slammed into the car's windshield and he needed to be taken to the hospital:

FOX 35 News Orlando

Luckily, the player most recently with the Lakers didn't seem to sustain any serious injury from the accident, although FOX 35 says Duhon told police he didn't remember anything about the incident, which could have to do with the fact his head smashed into the car.

This is scary: I am glad nobody has ever tried to hurt / maim / kill me with a motor vehicle. I’m certainly not laughing AT Chris Duhon. I am, however, laughing at the fact that of all the people in the world that could have been targeted by a crazy person with a lead foot in a parking garage, that person was Duhon.

This can’t have been an accident. But who would want to kill Duhon? Who could bear a grudge against Duhon, who was unspectacular in his 10 NBA seasons before failing to hang on to a roster this year? Who had Duhon mocked -- nay, humiliated -- in public, with the whole world watching?

There’s only one answer:

Danny Granger. We’re not buying the alibi of you being in Taiwan with your team, Danny, even if there is video proof.
