Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut limped to the locker room with lower back spasms early in the Warriors' preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers Friday morning in Shangai. Bogut will not return to the game, according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.
Andrew Bogut leaves Warriors’ game with lower back spasms
Bogut suffered the injury just a few minutes into the Warriors’ game Friday morning in Shanghai.

Bogut suffered the injury just a few minutes into Friday's contest. According to Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times, Bogut hurt himself while executing a simple move in the post against Pau Gasol.
Bogut has had a history of injury problems, only playing in 32 regular-season games for the Warriors last season and 12 for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011-12. In the last five seasons, the most games he has played is 69.
This latest issue comes at an inopportune time for Bogut, who just entered contract extension talks with Warriors management last week. While Bogut’s impact on the Warriors’ defense was noticeable last year, the injuries are a major concern, and this back problem could have an impact on the contract negotiations if it’s serious.
