Kyrie Irving embarrasses Sixers with series of crossovers

Watch Kyrie shred the Sixers’ backcourt. Oof.

Poor Michael Carter-Williams. No one should be tasked with trying to guard Kyrie Irving before playing a single regular season NBA game. This was Carter-Williams' life on Monday, though. The rookie point guard scored just five points on 1-11 shooting in 32 minutes, but his most miserable moment came halfway through the first quarter when Irving hit him with some serious Uncle Drew business.

As if that wasn't enough for Irving, mere moments later the Cavaliers point guard gave Carter-Williams' backcourt mate Evan Turner the same treatment. For Turner, this was a return to the Schottenstein Center at Ohio State University, where he starred in college on the way to being named the 2010 National Player of the Year. He couldn't have been more excited to be "back in the best arena in the world and going to play in front of the best fans," he said via Instagram. It must have been weird to hear those same fans oohing and ahhing as Irving worked his magic against him.
