Of course Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant heard Jalen Rose speculate about what he will do when he's a free agent. Of course Durant doesn't have a whole lot to say about the former player turned ESPN analyst's opinion that he will eventually join the Houston Rockets, via the Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry:
Kevin Durant responds to Jalen Rose’s comments
Thunder superstar Kevin Durant isn’t thinking about free agency yet. Makes sense, since it’s more than two years away.

Q: Did you hear what Jalen Rose said about the Houston thing?
A: Yep.
Do you have any thoughts on that?
Nah, I'm here for the Thunder (laughs). I mean, that's all I can say. I'm not thinking far down the line at all. It's about today. Today we got better against the Chicago Bulls. I can't tell the future. I can't speak on that. That's his opinion. I'm just going to keep playing for the Thunder. I love playing here.
Rose made the comments in an NBA preview discussion with Bill Simmons for Grantland. Durant, who famously announced a five-year maximum extension with the Thunder via Twitter in July of 2010, is signed through the end of the 2015-16 season. He knows there’s not much he can do to quiet the speculation aside from making it clear that he’s focused on battling for a championship in Oklahoma City.
Until he puts ink on a new contract with the Thunder, people will talk about what Durant will do next. He would clearly prefer not to be a part of that conversation. Can’t blame him.
