This won't shock you: Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose thinks Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook should take his time returning from his injury, via CSN Chicago's Aggrey Sam:
Derrick Rose says Russell Westbrook should take his time
From one superstar to another: don’t rush back.

When asked if he had any advice to offer Westbrook -- another close friend, though the two apparently didn’t cross paths over the summer in California, as they usually do -- Rose kept it simple.
“Take his time,” he said. “He’s the only one who knows his body. There’s no need to force anything and attack every day of rehab like it’s your last day. Get everything you can get out of it every day.”
While the Bulls’ superstar finished with 26 points on 6-15 shooting, plus six assists and four rebounds against the Thunder in Wichita, Kan., on Wednesday, Oklahoma City’s all-star guard had to sit out. Westbrook returned to practice this week after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery at the beginning of the month, but is still scheduled to miss the first four to six weeks of the regular season.
Rose endured endless criticism when he sat out longer than expected last year. His stellar preseason suggests the patience has paid off. It would be prudent for the Thunder to avoid rushing Westbrook’s return.
