Wizards to waive Marshall

While on draft night it looked like he’d get to be Steve Nash’s apprentice on a team with playoff aspirations, he instead found himself buried on the worst team in the Western Conference. Marshall’s best skill is managing a team and, with the Suns, he didn’t exactly have a lot of good scoring options alongside him. Still, Marshall averaged 12 assists per game in three appearances as a starter.
