Take a look at the video recap from Friday night's Toronto Raptors/Milwaukee Bucks preseason game that wasn't to be. It's actually pretty frightening. The game was called after six minutes due to a slippery court, thankfully before anybody got hurt. It was obvious to everyone involved that the contest could not continue, via the Toronto Star's Doug Smith:

The Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors’ final preseason game ended with Milwaukee leading 14-9 halfway through the first quarter after several players slipped on the court.

“It was terrible, I was really scared,” [DeMar] DeRozan said after the Raptors’ pre-season came to an unusual conclusion with their game against the Milwaukee Bucks abandoned after just over six minutes of the first quarter.
“It was really bad, no exaggeration at all, it was really bad. I couldn’t even cut to get open. When you tried to take off or cut, it would just give way.”
The new court and the wax-like treatment was like an ice rink in some parts, with players slipping and sliding all over the place.
“We saw the players were having issues with traction,” officiating crew chief Danny Crawford told a pool reporter. “Then when we had a few guys go down, we figured we should have a conference. And both teams wanted not to continue the game.”
Milwaukee VP of business operations John Steinmiller said that the cause of the slippery floor should be determined and corrected in the next 48 hours, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Charles F. Gardner. The Bucks have a new court this year at the Bradley Center but their old one is still available, according to Steinmiller.
Milwaukee’s next game at the Bradley Center is next Saturday against those same Raptors.
