Bobcats exercise options on Bismack Biyombo, Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
The Charlotte Bobcats have reportedly picked up the 2014-15 options on recent draft picks Bismack Biyombo, Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

This means that the Bobcats are set to pay Biyombo $3.8 million, Walker $3.2 million and Kidd-Gilchrist $5 million for the 2014-15 season, per ShamSports.
The decision on Biyombo was thought to be up in the air approaching Thursday's deadline, as outlined by SB Nation's Mark Deeks. The third-year big man still needs to prove that he can become a competent offensive player and show signs of living up to his tremendous defensive potential.
The other two were more or less formalities. Walker showed great promise out of college and increased his production as a sophomore. Kidd-Gilchrist, the No. 2 pick in the 2012 draft, is seen as a core part of Charlotte’s future and its defensive tone-setter.
