The New Orleans Pelicans will sign big man Louis Amundson to add some depth to their frontcourt, via ESPN's Marc Stein:
Louis Amundson to sign with Pelicans
The Pelicans will reportedly sign veteran big man Louis Amundson. Sorry, Knicks.

Amundson was waived by the Los Angeles Clippers before the start of the regular season. He spent time in New Orleans last season, with stints in Minnesota and Chicago as well. The Pelicans have been reluctant to give Jeff Withey or Arinze Onuaku minutes, so Amundson should give them some insurance while Ryan Anderson remains out with a broken toe.
The New York Knicks reportedly had interest in Amundson, reaching out to him after Tyson Chandler's injury, via ESPN New York's Ian Begley.
New Orleans has 15 players under contract, so a player will have to be waived before this deal is official. The most obvious candidate is the aforementioned Onuaku.
