Caron Butler of the Milwaukee Bucks will reportedly be sidelined after spraining his left shoulder on Wednesday night.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Caron Butler will likely "miss a few games" after an MRI on Thursday morning revealed a mild left shoulder sprain, according to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Butler hurt the shoulder with less than two minutes left in Milwaukee's 94-91 loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night and had to leave the game. He had a season-high 20 points at the time, along with five rebounds and three assists. The injury occurred when he collided with teammate Khris Middleton.

The Bucks are dealing with an assortment of injuries and only had eight healthy bodies on Wednesday night, so this news does not come at the best time. Butler was forced to play 42 minutes against Orlando before the injury. Milwaukee fans desperate to see rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo get more floor time might get their wish.

The veteran is averaging 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds on the season, shooting 36 percent from the field.
