The New York Knicks hosted the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder visited the Golden State Warriors in the only NBA games Thursday night, but each game delivered. Carmelo Anthony went off, but was it enough? Here's a roundup of the TNT double header.

Carmelo Anthony had a huge night but couldn’t finish off the Rockets. The Warriors? Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are pretty good at making threes, but Andre Iguodala stole the show at the buzzer.
Houston Rockets 109, New York Knicks 106
Carmelo Anthony dropped an NBA season-high 45 points and grabbed 10 rebounds but the Houston Rockets were able to escape Madison Square Garden with a win after a wild finish. The Knicks were down three with 5.6 second left in the fourth quarter, then this happened:
Yes, that's 'Melo draining a three while being intentionally fouled. Yes, that's the crowd going wild. No, the shot didn't count. James Harden managed to get the intentional foul off before the shot and the referees didn't give 'Melo the continuation on the shot. Anthony would make both free-throws, Harden would make both of his on the other end, and the Knicks were unable to get another clean look at a game-tying three.
Other notable events? Oh, just Andrea Bargnani dominating Dwight Howard on the post, dog:
Howard finished the game with seven points on 1-of-5 shooting and five turnovers, including this doozy of an interception:
Harden led the Rockets with 36 points, making 16 of his 18 free-throw attempts. Jeremy Lin scored 21 off the bench in the birth place of Linsanity. Also, tip of the hat to Chandler Parsons with 22 points and this nice jam:
Golden State Warriors 116, Oklahoma City Thunder 115
Andre Iguodala drained a game-winning shot over Thabo Sefolosha to beat the buzzer after Russell Westbrook made what looked like a game-winning three. Game-winning three it was not, per Yoda.
The Warriors can make a ton of threes in the blink of an eye and the Oklahoma City Thunder were on the receiving end of the barrage in Oracle Arena Thursday night. Golden State made 14 threes, led by Klay Thompson's six shots from beyond the arc. He finished with a team-high 27 points.
All was not lost in the game for Oklahoma City, though. Westbrook had his best game since returning early from his knee injury, notching a game-high 31 points on 13-of-20 shooting.
Kevin Durant struggled from the field, making just five of his 13 field goals through the night.
All in all, one heckuva game featuring a crowd roaring so loud you could feel it from a few states away. Please do us a solid, basketball gods, and make this a seven-game series in May.
