Stephen Curry injury: Warriors star will miss Lakers game
Golden State’s star point guard will not play Friday against the Lakers.

Curry has missed two games this season (the first was due to a bruised ankle) and the Warriors have lost both contests, averaging just 77.5 points per game in his absence. Golden State lost to the Spurs on Nov. 8, scoring just 74 points in the game. On Wednesday night, the team managed just 81 points in an overtime loss to the Grizzlies.
Curry, 25, is averaging three fewer points per game than he did last season but is averaging a career-high 8.7 assists and orchestrates one of the league’s best offenses.
Golden State still has the 10th-best offense (via Basketball-Reference) despite the team’s sub-par scoring in the two games Curry has missed
The Lakers haven't played since Sunday, when they beat the Detroit Pistons, 114-99.
