Marc Gasol injury: Grizzlies sprains knee, will have MRI
Marc Gasol left the Grizzlies’ game against the Spurs on Friday night with a knee sprain and did not return.

Memphis center Marc Gasol left Friday's game against San Antonio due to an apparent knee injury. Although he never went down on the court, Gasol appeared to be in pain and grabbed his left knee before heading back to the locker room, according to David Brandt of the Associated Press.
The injury appeared to occur early in the second quarter when Gasol came up limping on the defensive end. He was not contacted on the play. He then left the game for further evaluation.

Arguably the best overall center in the NBA, losing Gasol for an extended period of time would be a significant loss for the Grizzlies. The 28-year-old is averaging 17.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game this season. He is second on the team in both scoring and rebounding.
