The Warriors were without star point guard Stephen Curry, and the Lakers capitalized by forcing Golden State into 18 turnovers en route to a 102-95 win at Staples Center.

Golden State coach Mark Jackson went with Andre Iguodala, a traditional wing, at point guard and the team struggled to get going offensively. Iguodala turned the ball over six times before straining his hamstring in the third quarter. He did record six assists but the Warriors' offense was never able to move with the fluidity that it does with Curry running the show.
Pau Gasol, who has played less than stellar in the first part of the young season, led the Lakers with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Young and Jordan Farmar contributed 21 and 14 respectively off the bench. Los Angeles sunk 11 of its 24 attempts from long range and sunk 48 percent of its total shots from the field.
David Lee dropped 21 and 13 for the Warriors and Andrew Bogut notched his own double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds of his own.
The Lakers took a 55-46 lead into halftime. Gasol led the way early with 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the first 24 minutes. Steve Blake chipped in 10 of his own, including a three-pointer from the left corner on the Lakers' last possession before the break.
Golden state has lost all three games its played without Curry, on the floor.
