Chandler should be a big boost to the Knicks’ defense, where they rank 27th in the NBA in efficiency at 108.2 points allowed per 100 possessions, according to Basketball-Reference. He missed a total of 20 games with the injury.

ElsaChandler suffered the injury when he collided with the Bobcats’ Kemba Walker midway through the first quarter of the Knicks’ 102-97 loss. Chandler remained on the bench with an ice pack for a few minutes before limping to the locker room and not returning.
