Lamar Odom pleaded no contest to a driving under the influence charge stemming from an arrest on Aug. 30, reports the Associated Press. Odom accepted a sentence of three months probation as well as a mandatory three months of alcohol abuse treatment.

Odom reportedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused chemical tests after being booked for the incident in August. He was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol just before 4 a.m. after driving too slow and in a “serpentine manner” on the 101 Highway in San Fernando Valley.
The free agent forward remains unsigned after putting up career-low averages in scoring, field-goal percentage and minutes per game with the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2012-2013 season.
Odom has met with the Clippers multiple times since becoming a free agent and the organization is expected to continue monitoring his progress. Odom recently worked out in Rhode Island with trainer Rob McClanaghan as he gears up for a potential comeback to the NBA.
