Lamar Odom arrested for DUI early Friday morning, according to report
Lamar Odom is reportedly being held on $15,000 bail after an early morning DUI.
Odom was reportedly pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for going too slow on the 101 Highway in the San Fernando Valley just before 4 a.m. PST. TMZ reports that he failed numerous field sobriety tests and then refused chemical tests upon being booked.
Odom averaged 4.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season for the Clippers. He was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2010-11, but struggled en route to just 6.6 points per game for the Dallas Mavericks in 2011-12 before signing with the Clippers.
TMZ reported earlier this week that Odom, who played for the Los Angeles Clippers last season, has been dealing with a "hardcore" drug problem over the past two seasons. Odom was also suspended in 2001 for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
