Prigioni joins Raymond Felton among injured New York backcourt fixtures. Felton suffered a strained left hamstring last week and will miss one or two more weeks.
Prigioni had stepped in as the starting point guard in Felton’s absence, and he had performed well in Felton’s absence. In his four starts, the 36-year-old Argentinian had a total of 22 points, 19 assists and two turnovers.
Beno Udrih, the 32-year-old averaging 14.4 minutes, will likely step in to start in Prigioni's (and Felton's) absence. Udrih is averaging 4.4 points and 2.1 assists so far this season.
