The Los Angeles Lakers, in need of a point guard after Kobe Bryant's injury, have agreed to terms with D-League player Kendall Marshall, per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

In need of help at the point guard spot, the Los Angeles Lakers reach for Kendall Marshall from the D-League.

Marshall, the 13th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, played his rookie season with the Phoenix Suns last year averaging three points and 14.6 minutes per game.
In the D-League this season, Marshall has averaged 19.7 points and 9.6 assists per game for the Delaware 87ers.
News was released today that Bryant, who recently returned from a torn achilles, fractured his knee in the third quarter against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
The Lakers have struggled with injuries all year. Steve Nash is battling a nagging back injury and isn't set to return for another four weeks. Jordan Farmar tore his hamstring on Dec. 1 and won't return for another week while Steve Blake's elbow injury is expected to keep him out at least another five weeks.
Adding Marshall gives the Lakers a much-needed ball handler. LA was set to start Xavier Henry, who has more career turnovers (110) than assists (92) had they failed to sign another guard.
Los Angeles currently stands at 11th in the Western Conference at 12-13.
