New York Knicks guard Pablo Prigioni, who fractured his big toe against the Washington Wizards on Dec. 16, says he is targeting a return in early January, according to a tweet from MSG's Alan Hahn.
Pablo Prigioni targeting return in early January, per report
The Knicks guard is looking to get back on the court during a road trip in Texas.

Had a nice chat with Pablo Prigioni before the game. In a walking boot, but optimistic. Looking at Texas trip in early Jan. as target.
— Alan Hahn (@alanhahn) December 21, 2013 The Knicks will be in the Lone Star State starting Jan. 2 to visit San Antonio, Houston and Dallas all within a four-day span.
Ray Felton, New York's starting point guard, has been battling a hamstring injury that has kept him out since Dec. 11. That put the onus on Prigioni to perform until he suffered the toe fracture. New York has been forced to start backup Beno Udrih in their absence.
Getting Prigioni back would be a big boost for the Knicks. Many of coach Mike Woodson’s most efficient lineups feature Prigs in the backcourt. With Tyson Chandler returning on Friday, it’s been a slow road to recovery as New York continues to try and get healthy.
