The much-hyped guard will reportedly meet with agents this month and next, with his eyes on the 2014 NBA Draft.

Dante Exum, one of the best amateur players in the world, is setting up meetings with several prominent agents over the next month in Australia to discuss representation for the 2014 NBA draft, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Several agents involved in the process believe that Exum, 18, will turn pro, and expect he’ll come over to the United States in February to start working out for the June draft. His father, Cecil, played at the University of North Carolina and in the National Basketball League of Australia.
…One major college coach, who had recruited Exum hard on the chance he could come to the United States for a season of college basketball, told Yahoo Sports that he believes Exum will enter the 2014 draft.
None of this is particularly surprising if you’ve been following along. While Exum has not officially made the decision to bypass college and enter the draft, it’s been assumed for a while that he’s been leaning that way. The 6’6 guard is currently projected to be a top-5 pick in what’s looking like a loaded draft pool.
Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut, himself a former No. 1 overall selection, told a radio station in Melbourne that he expects Exum will declare for the draft, via Fox Sports Australia:
"He's a projected top five pick and he could go to college and risk getting hurt," Bogut, the first Australian to be drafted No. 1 when picked up by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2005, told Melbourne's SEN radio on Tuesday.
"You're also under the pressure of the scouts - they start to nitpick a little bit so it could hurt your spot as well.
"I think he'll do the smart thing. I think he'll end up coming over here a little earlier and just training and working out and then enter the draft."
At this point, it would be a major shock if Exum decided to go a different route.
