But Detroit survived the high-pressure situations late in the game and ended Miami's 10-game winning streak with a 107-97 victory.

The Heat erased a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit in the span of about five minutes, but somehow the young Pistons held on to get their first win against a team with a winning record this season. And they made some huge defensive plays down the stretch against the normally invincible LeBron James.
James had “only” 23 points and shot “just” 53 percent from the field, but the gigantic Detroit frontcourt gave the Heat fits. And that’s been the kryptonite for Miami. At least, it’s been the only semblance of kryptonite that actually exists against this team.
Andre Drummond had just 10 points, but he swallowed up 18 rebounds in the game, the highest individual single-game total against the Heat this season. The Pistons as a team outrebounded Miami, 46-34, and largely outplayed them nearly all night.
Detroit's entire starting lineup scored in double figures, and Kyle Singler and Rodney Stuckey combined for 34 points off the bench in the convincing win.
