The NBA Development League approved a game protest filed by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants after their one-point loss to the Texas Legends on Nov. 22, according to a press release from the league. The Mad Ants and Legends will replay the final 0.9 seconds of the game with the score knotted at 99 and Fort Wayne in possession.

The Mad Ants were assessed an incorrect technical late in the fourth quarter following a scorecard error connected to the number of timeouts the team had left. The Legends were awarded a free throw and Chris Douglas-Roberts sank it to give Texas a one-point lead and the ball with less than a second remaining.
The error that led to the technical occurred with 10:35 remaining and was recorded by the official scorekeeper.
The Mad Ants’ protest is the second ever approved by the D-League. The first approved protest was for the Utah Flash in the 2008-09 season.
The league hasn’t yet announced a time and date for the replay.
