Indiana Pacers star Danny Granger went through his first full-court practice on Sunday and could return to the lineup as early as Wednesday against the Charlotte Bobcats, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.

The Indianapolis Star reports that Pacers star Danny Granger could return to the lineup as early as Wednesday against the Bobcats.

Granger has not played a single game this year due to a left knee injury. Despite his absence, the Pacers have gone 31-20 and sit in third in the Eastern Conference, a half game ahead of the Chicago Bulls. Indiana's offense has naturally struggled for much of the year without their leading scorer of the last five seasons, but the team has picked it up of late, averaging nearly 103 points in their last eight games.
Granger's return should theoretically provide a boost, although it will likely take some time for him to get acclimated to playing again. It will also be interesting to see how the dynamic plays out between him and Paul George, who has blossomed into a star in his absence. If Granger and George can effectively co-exist, the Pacers will be that much more dangerous come playoff time.
There’s still a chance that Granger sits until after the All-Star break. Indiana is deciding whether it would be better for the 29-year-old to get a game or two in before the break or to just give him more rest. Pacers coach Frank Vogel said the team will see how Granger responds to Sunday’s practice and then have him go through practice on Tuesday before making a decision.
